Our first tomato!!

I planted 2 tomato plants & 1 jalapeno plant this year....in little pots on our deck. They are getting quite tall & we have our first tomato!! Still tiny of course but exciting nonetheless. Our original plan was to put in a small vegetable garden at Rick's grandma's farmhouse. Due to the wedding planning & very rainy weather, we were unable to plant the garden before the wedding. So now we have that as a goal for 2010. I can't wait! It will be very rewarding to eat our own organic foods!
