Transfer Day!

I am officially PUPO. In infertility lingo that means Pregnant until proven otherwise.  Took Hudson to daycare then ran a couple errands and did a little cleaning before Rick got off work and picked me up. We had to check in almost 2 hours before our transfer time of 1:30.  Most of the time was spent waiting....

The actual embryo transfer only took about 10 minutes from set up to finish. We were able to see a microscope view of our 2 embryos before they were taken from the lab.  Both were in the "hatching" stage. Our doc said this is as good as we can hope for; superior embryos waiting to attach to something. Rick's face was priceless when he heard this. A moment of panic set in over the possibility of twins. I was excited Rick was able to snap a picture! Look at them! So cool.

After the transfer I had to stay and rest for an hour. Taking it easy today and tomorrow.  Thankful Rick is doing an awesome job taking care of all the domestic duties;)  Will continue my progesterone shots, estrogen patches and estrogen pills until my pregnancy test on August 1st!
