fertilization report!

Got our happy call from the IVF lab at 7:45 this morning!  Out of our 14 eggs, 13 were mature and injected with sperm (ICSI).  NINE of them fertilized!!  So thankful!  Now I pray that the fertilized eggs continue to grow!

Paperwork from my RE's office says that of the fertilized eggs, we can expect 50% to grow for all 5 days. On day 5, the 2 best embryos will be transferred to my uterus.  Any embryos still growing on day 6 will be frozen.  I pray that we have 2 amazing embryos to transfer &  a couple that we can freeze for future use!
